Bucky Barnes is personhood after coercive ownership. His story is psychologically powerful because the central question is not whether he can fight, but whether a man used as a weapon can reclaim memory, agency, and moral self-trust.

Bucky's psychology is trauma after identity theft. Conditioning makes his own body feel suspect, and memory becomes both evidence and threat. He fears that violence done through him may have become indistinguishable from who he is.
